Video: Gorillaz, James Murphy, and Andre 3000 – “DoYaThing”

Gorillaz have finally unveiled their latest video for “DoYaThing”, a song that comes from the minds of Gorillaz leader Damon Albarn, ex-front man of LCD Soundsystem James Murphy, and Andre 3000. This collab provides an interesting mix between the three’s very different styles, but the video is a little slow. Despite having a very minimal plot, Gorillaz fans will be entertained by the full 3D renderings of 2D and Murdock who have changed little since their first 2-dimensional appearance on their self-titled album back in 1997. The Adult Swim Singles Program and director Daniel Garcia collaborated to make a music video for the Holy Ghost! remix of LCD’s “Drunk Girls”. The outcome is basically everything you would expect.
