Video: Black Dice – Pigs

Brooklyn noise-revivalists Black Dice have announced they will release their sixth full-length LP Mr. Impossible April 9 via Ribbon Music. Responsible for pioneering noise-rock in the mainstream throughout the 00′s Black Dice put out a slew of records on DFA and Paw Tracks, quickly gaining cult status with their infusion of power electronics that bordered on a Hold Your Horse Is-like aggression. After more than three years since their last record Black Dice have just dropped the video for “Pigs,” an upbeat, industrial-influenced sonic maelstrom that seesaws over a groove that feels reminiscent of vintage Battles. The video does a good job mimicking the seemingly endless array of glitched-out FX that you’re assaulted with throughout the song, which means if you have a problem with flickering lights you might want to pass on this one. Watch the video for “Pigs” below and don’t forget to pre-order your Mr. Impossible LP here.
