In case you don’t know, the Red Bull Music Academy is a traveling symposium of music and knowledge that was started about 13 years ago. Traveling the world over, it is a platform for those who have shaped our musical past, present, and those who will shape our music future. At the most recent academy session in Madrid, New Orleans born producer and hip hop heavy-weight Mannie Fresh sat down to present a special lecture for academy goers. In this exclusive video, Mannie Fresh talks about his humble beginnings in New Orleans, the origin of ‘NOLA Bounce’, being part of Cash Money, all about producing, and his other ventures in the music industry.
