“We hear a lot that our new record is more ‘rock’ than our previous one,” says Xavier de Rosnay, one half of the Parisian electronic duo Justice. “We don’t feel like we are making rock and roll anyway, or what rock and roll is in 2011.” So what does the group’s second album, Audio, Video, Disco, sound like? “It’s not trying too hard to sound like something it’s not, and the record is really dry,” de Rosnay says. “It’s bedroom music, and we made it sound like a bedroom music record.”

You can listen to the album in full now before it hits stores on October 24th, and pre-order it from iTunes. In the video above, you can watch the duo discuss their approach to making the record, why they avoid getting too good at what they do and why they have no interest in touring with a full band.
