Full Album Stream: The Drums – Portamento

Any artist will tell you that their sophomore album is one of the most crucial in their career especially when you follow a great debut album. The Drums are about to release their second album Portamento on September 13th. Luckily for us, we can stream this album in it’s entirely before the brooklyn-duo officially drop the collection of songs. I went ahead and streamed it myself and I must say that I am impressed. I don’t think The Drums will experience a ‘sophomore slump’. It’s too bad this album wasn’t released at the beginning of the summer because it would have been the perfect soundtrack to your heat-filled summer daze. Play these tunes and picture yourself beach-side…or just somewhere with water.
